Getting from Tokyo Station to Haneda Airport

If you're wondering how to get to the airport, here’s a quick breakdown of your best options, depending on your budget and how much luggage you're hauling.

Keikyu Line

Time: 40 mins - Cost: 505 JPY (You can NOT use your JR-pass ) - Transfers: 1

From JR Tokyo, take the JR Yamanote Line or JR Keihin-Tohoku Line southbound to Shinagawa Station (approx. 10 minutes).

At Shinagawa Station, transfer to the Keikyu Airport Line. Look for the "Airport Kai-soku" (Airport Limited Express) for the fastest service.

Arrive at Haneda Airport Terminal 1·2 or Terminal 3.

Alternatively, you can take a taxi to Shinagawa Keikyu Station. If the road to Haneda is congested.

Best for when you're in a hurry, but it can get pretty crowded during rush hour and be difficult with suitcases.

Best for: If you have lots of suitcases. You get a guaranteed seat, and they stow your bags in the cargo hold. Warning: Watch out for traffic during peak times! Pre-book your seats; it may be fully booked!

Taxi / Fixed Rate

Time: 40 minutes (depending on traffic) / Cost: 6,900–7,600 JPY (rates differ for early morning or late evening)

Watch out for traffic during peak times! When you book your taxi from the hotel, let them know your flight time, and they will give you an idea of how long it will take. The airport taxi must be booked an hour before your departure.
