YOKOHAMA

Tokyu Railways is easy to access from Shibuya to Yokohama. Additionally, there is a JR line that goes to Yokohama.

KYOTO

Please pronounce it as "key-oh-toe.” We found that many visitors can’t pronounce Kyoto correctly.

KOBE-OSAKA-KYOTO and Arashiyama

HANKYU RAILWAY -- if you don’t have a JR pass, it’s cheaper to travel between Osaka Umeda to Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi, the central Kyoto. Also, you can visit Arashiyama or Kobe by the Hankyu railway.

Please note that Hankyu doesn’t go to JR Kyoto Station.

NARA

Nara City Main Bus Route Map ( Nara Kotsu Bus 🚌)

If you are staying nearby or arriving in Nara by Kintetsu Railway, you can walk and do not need to take a bus for sightseeing, but if you are arriving by JR, I recommend taking a bus to the centre area. Hotels are affordable near JR Nara station, but a bit expensive near Kintetsu Nara station.

Osaka-Nara / Kyoto-Nara by Kintetsu Rail way

Hiroshima and Miyajima

If you have a JR Rail Pass, please use JR to visit Miyajima

How to ride the tram / Good news, you can use your IC card ;) But don’t forget to charge.
